Superstar Mahesh Babu who is known for his friendly gestures and helping nature stays away from media attention. He is silently working for the uplift of the poor and needy, paving way for their overall development.
Recently Mahesh Babu turned Rythu Bandhu by rejecting the Rythu Bandhu cheques offered by the Government of Telangana. It is known that Telangana CM KCR launched Rythu Bandhu scheme for the benefit of the farmers. Under the scheme, farmers under the age group of 19-59 years will be given an insurance of Rs 5 lakhs.
As Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata owns 29.3 Guntala and 1.20 acres farm land in Maheswaram Mandal, Agricultural Officer Koteswar Reddy and VRO Mahesh, offered them Rythu Bandhu cheques, meeting them at their residence.
However Mahesh and Namrata decided to return them back to the government. Mahesh however showered praises on CM KCR for the scheme which will be helpful for the farmers across the state.
