T-agitators root for Venkatswamy's resignation

Telangana supporters staged a dharna for over two hours in front of  G Venkataswamy’s Somajiguda residence in the city pressing for his resignation from the Congress Working Committte membership.

Alleging that Venkatswamy failed to impress upon the High Command  to take up the cause of Telangana, the agitators urged Venkatswamy to quit the party post and come out openly.

The activists also demanded that the senior leader's son G Vinod also quit as MP. At one point , the agitators tried to force  themselves into the house of Venkatswamy but were  prevented by the police who  kept t he agitators at bay.
