Hyderabad, Aug 10 :-
Crying foul on the treatment meted out to opposition parties in the ongoing Assembly, the Opposition party leader Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday that the Government is treating the Opposition party members as school children.
The Chief Minister is supposed to maintain his dignity and decency in the Assembly, but sad to say that he is acting like a dictator and in no way he does respond as a responsible person to the questions raised in the Assembly. Only when he responds in a positive manner to the questions raised then there will be fruitful discussions. The CM does not have any regard for the opposition leader or the opposition members, he lamented.
The Telugu Desam Party chief recalled the days when YSR was an opposition leader in the Assembly. At that time the treatment meted out to him by the then ruling party TDP was really exemplary, he pointed out.
Hitting out at the curbs imposed on the media, Chandrababu said that it was really distressing and demanded that the curbs on the media should be raised. The curbs imposed were described as a “reminder of emergency days,’’ he further added.
