MIM to greet 'Srikrishna report'

The All India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen would accept the final report of the Srikrishna Committee even if it went against the party line, said MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in the State Assembly on Friday.

Owaisi said the Srikrishna panel’s report, whether it was for or against the creation of separate Telangana state, would be accepted as and when it was submitted to the Centre.

He said this while participating in the debate on the 'Motion of Thanks' for the Governor's address to the joint session of the  Legislature.

Owaisi sought the support of all parties to the Committee, which had been given a comprehensive terms of reference (ToR) by the Centre.
