AP Speaker adjourns House twice in 30 minutes

Hyderabad, Aug 10:-

 The Andhra Pradesh State Legislature Assembly Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday adjourned the House twice as the Opposition members insisted for debate on adjournment motion.

When the House met for the day, the Opposition members including Telugu Desam, Praja Rajyam, CPI and CPM introduced adjournment motion for discussing skyrocketing prices of essential commodities in the House.

However, the Speaker disallowed the motion and said that time for discussion on price rise would be allotted sometime latter.

The Opposition members not satisfied with his reply staged a dharna and disrupted the proceedings in the House.

Then, the Speaker adjourned the House for 15 minutes.

Later when the House met for the session, again the Opposition party members stuck to their demand and sought for the discussion on the issue. Then the House plunged into turmoil and Speaker adjourned the House for another 15 minutes.
