The TSRTC later issued a press release stating that the APSRTC prepared a Demerger Plan showing 14 properties as Headquarter properties, which it said was in violation of Central Government clarification dated 18.05.2017. "TSRTC prepared a Demerger Plan in tune with the clarification given by the Central Government. TSRTC requested to send both proposals to Central Government. APSRTC did not agree for the same and went ahead for voting without taking into consideration of the view of the Telangana Directors. The Board has no authority to pass any resolution against Central Government clarification. Therefore, the Directors of Telangana walked out of the Board Meeting," the press release added.
