Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday condemned the statement made by Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has accepted bribes from the traders to increase the prices of essential commodities. ``The Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu should establish the allegations he made against the CM in the assembly,’’ said PCC spokesperson Tulasi Reddy.
Speaking to the media he said the prices in other states have also gone up does it mean that the chief ministers of other states also had taken bribes and favoured the traders, the PCC spokesperson questioned.
He categorically made the statement that even during the time of TDP’s rule also the prices of commodities like tamarind and onions have gone up. May I know how much Chandrababu had take as a bribe at that time, he quipped.
