Vijayashanti hits out at functioning of TRS

 Medak MP and Telangana Rashtra Samiti secretary general M Vijayashanti  said here on Saturday that it was TRS leaders  who are keeping me away from  party activities  and not me  shunning  from the party activities.

Speaking  to media  on Saturday she lamented that the party leaders are  vindictive and are doing every thing possible to tarnish my name.  I am going through a lot  of mental torture because of their attitude towards  me on the party activities, she further added.

Quoting an example she said `` I was leaving  for Delhi to attend the Parliamentary sessions  but I was asked to stay back in Hyderabad   to discuss primary issues of the party. When I made my self available in Hyderabad, they neither  contacted me  nor invited me to the party meetings. None of them talked to me. They are conspiring against me to keep me away from the party. They did all these things  intentionally,’’  the actor-turned politician bemoaned.

Meanwhile it is learnt  from reliable resources that Vijayashanti had discussions with  Nallapuredy Prasannakumar Reddy, the suspended MLA from Telugu Desam on Saturday.  In the wake of rumours  that Vijayashanti  will be joining the Congress  this meeting holds considerable significance.

Prasannakumar Reddy , a senior leader in the TDP, was expelled from the party just a couple of days back following his open letter to Chandrababu Naidu. He also  found  fault with him on  party’s stand in various issues, including the election of the Assembly Speaker. Prasanna has also committed that he would write two more letters trying to make the leadership realize its mistakes.
