Kurnool ex-Mayor pooh-poohs T-panel

Kurnool, Feb 4: Former mayor Bangi Anantaiah on Thursday ridiculed Union Home Minister P. Chidanmbaram's announcement of Telangana statehood at a unique dharna in front of the District Collectorate here.Imitating the Union Home Minister, he carried a suit case and expressed the apprehension that the Sri Krishna panel may not give the clearance to Telangana state.Chidambaram has planned to divide the integrated state on the lines of regional sentiments.He threatened to launch a massive agitation if the Centre carves out Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh.
