Revanth wants Keshava Rao suspended from TRS

Telangana Tdp Working President A. Revanth Reddy on Friday demanded that Rajya Sabha Member K. Keshava Rao be suspended from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi for his alleged involvement in encroaching upon forest land.

Addressing a press conference here, Revanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was trying to shield those who grabbed government lands. He said instead of taking action against the land grabbers, the Chief Minister cancelled Land Grabbing Act to prevent registration of criminal cases against the violators. He said Revenue officials of Serilingampally have complained of encroachment on 816 Acres of land. However, he said no enquiry has been initiated on encroachments on 123 Acres of land in Survey Nos. 44 & 46. He said that the State Government should issue a clarification on this issue.
