Top director Rajamouli reiterated that he would be directing his next film without VFX. SSR's interview in an 'Open Heart' program was aired by a TV news channel tonight. He shared many interesting things about 'Baahubali 2' and other issues. Following are the excerpts of his interview.
* I'll do my next film without using VFX. My next project hasn't been confirmed. I have commitments with DVV Danayya garu and KL Narayana garu.
* Prabhas worked hard like a bull and so was Rana. I liked the performance of Nasser. Rana, despite some limitations, performed extraordinarily in the movie.
* Initially, we approached Sridevi garu to perform Shivagami role. As she rejected, Ramya Krishna lapped up the opportunity. We are happy with Sridevi denying the project.
* Mahabharat is my dream project but I'm not sure when it'd be started.
* Although I visit temples, I am an atheist. I follow Karma Yoga which doesn't require the influence of the God.
* Baahubali might end up with Rs.1700 crores without China release. Though the film minted an astronomical gross, producers could earn a little money with it. Huge taxes had to paid in areas like Maharashtra and Delhi.
* I'm Tarak's fan but I'm not sure to say I'd work with him for my next film.
* My family is my strength. All of our family members meet at least five days a week.
* I contributed some extent in the elevations of Secretariat and High court buildings in AP's capital Amaravati.
