Case filed against Damodar Reddy supporters

Nalgonda, Feb 1: The Police have booked a case against the attackers on the convoy of the Minister for Information and Technology Komatireddy Venkat Reddy at Suryapet on Sunday.The Police on Monday registered cases against suspected Congress activists allegedly belonged to the supporters of Damodar Reddy group.

The activists hurled stones and gheraoed the Minister, who came to the house of municipal chairman M Satyanarayana in connection with a function at the latter’s house.Tension prevailed in the area for a while before a group attacked the Minister’s convoy at his native district.Police said group rivalries came to fore with this attack on minister’s car.
