TDP MLAs protest in a novel way

Hyderabad, Aug 07:-

  Resenting the  rise in prices of essential commodities , the Telugu Desam Party MLAs  staged a protest  in front of the Assembly on Friday.  In a novel way they staged the protest  by setting up a model market  at Gun Park  which is in front of the Assembly. While some  MLAs acted like vegetable vendors  and kirana shop owners  others played the role of  customers. All this drama took place   during the  tea break of   Assembly sessions.  Some of the MLAs have put on garlands  of vegetables  and redgram dal packets.

 Shouting anti-Government slogans the Tdp MLAs who acted like customers denounced the policies of the Government.

They further criticized  the Government  saying that the  skyrocketing prices of essential commodities  have hit  the common man very badly. Traders are creating an artificial scarcity of essential commodities and jacking up their prices and diverting them to the black market with the support of ruling party leaders, the MLAs  alleged.
