KCR welcomes constitutional authority status National BC Commission

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed happiness over the introduction of a Bill (Constitutional Amendment Bill) to accord Constitutional Authority to the National Backward Classes Commission.

Congratulating the Union Government for the amendment, the Chief Minister termed the act of providing Constitutional Status to the National BC Commission as a progressive act. He also said that the TRS would extend its full support to the Bill in the Parliament.

The Chief Minister has instructed the TRS MPs to support the Bill and vote for it in the Parliament on behalf of the Telangana State and TRS. Giving Constitutional validity to the National BC Commission on par with the SC/ST Commissions would do a great benefit to the people especially the Other Backward Classes, he opined.
