Hyderabad, Jan 28: The order of the Central Administrative Tribunal setting aside the appointment of DGP Girish Kumar has come as a setback to Rosaiah Government at a time when the Telangana mist seemed to clear awayon Thursday. The Home Minister seemed to be seized of the matter, according to indications.``We did not receive a copy of the CAT order scrapping the appointment of senior IPS officer Girish Kumar as Andhra Pradesh’s Director General of Police,’’ said Home Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy.
In the wake of the CAT order on Thursday, Sabitha said ``We asked for a detailed report on this issue, so that we can study it in detail before taking a decision.’’``I will take up the matter with Chief Minister K Rosaiah, who is now on a visit to Krishna and Guntur districts. In all probability, I would meet the Chief Minister on Friday to discuss the issue, Sabitha added.
