Telangana Joint Action Committee (Tpjac) Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram on Friday said that the JAC would launch a political party if such a need arises.

Addressing a 'Meet The Press' programme here, Kodandaram said there was a need for a political party which is based on political and social morals. He said that the JAC has been working hard to create political alternates. Therefore, he said that the JAC would not hesitate to launch a new political party if its requirement is strongly felt for Telangana State. However, he clarified that the JAC would continues its activities even after the formation of a political party.

Indirectly referring to the TRS Government, Kodandaram said that many sections of the society, especially youth, were hurt due to the wrong policies of State Government. He said lot of injustice would happen to youth if the zonal system is scrapped. He advised the government to make amendments in the present zonal system instead of completely scrapping it.

The JAC chief made it clear that the rally of unemployed youth would be conducted as scheduled on February 22. He assured that the rally would be totally peaceful. He said no one should be concern about the rally.
