Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday demanded the state government to initiate steps to address the problems of Uddanam victims in Srikakulam who are suffering due to kidney related ailments.
Pawan Kalyan urged the government to provide free transportation in the public transport to patients and their attendants travelling for treatment. He also demanded the government to provide free medicines to all the kidney affected victims in endemic areas. The Jana Sena chief also sought rehabilitation of the orphans of affected families. He also demanded the government to supply RO water in the affected areas.
The Jana Sena chief also said that the government should take immediate steps to establish at least one dialysis center to each mandal in the affected area and also appoint nephrologists in the affected regions.
Pawan Kalyan also appointed a special committee with doctors and party members which would study and prepare a detailed report on the issue.
