Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday alleged that Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was adopting every trick under the sun to halt the progress of the state.
Speaking to media persons, Chandrababu Naidu said that it was unfortunate that Jagan was stalling state’s progress. "I have not seen such a person who can stoop to so low to stall the progress of his own state," he lamented.
Terming Polavaram project as the lifeline of the state, the Chief Minister said that state had made successful representation to the Centre and got funds sanctioned for the project. He said that the TDP government was constructing the project aiming at the long term benefits for the state. He said that despite Opposition’s attempts to stall the project, the TDP government was going ahead with the same only keeping the state’s interest in mind. He said that state was also successful in implementing Pattiseema despite Opposition’s futile attempts to stall it. The Opposition is trying to stall projects by provoking and misleading farmers, he said.
