Anantapur MP and TDP leader J.C. Diwakar Reddy on Tuesday cautioned Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu saying that he was adopting ‘Officers Raj’ and was neglecting the peoples’ representatives.
Emerging from a meeting of party’s peoples’ representatives in Amaravati chaired by TD chief Chandrababu Naidu, Diwakar Reddy said that the CM was highly depending on officials to run the government. He said that the views of elected people were being sidelined by the government. He said that if such a situation continues it will create difficulties for the party and the government. He said that he had advised the CM not to continue with bureaucrats administrative set up and wanted the CM to take along the elected representatives. He said that the officials were neglecting senior leaders like Payavula Keshav and others during review meetings.
The TD MP said that he had joined the TD only to prevent YSRC chief Jagan from becoming the CM and had conveyed the same to Chandrababu himself while joining the party.
