No deadline set for T: Kodandaram

Hyderabad,Jan 21: ``We did not set any deadline for the Centre to make an announcement on Telangana, said Prof Kodandaram, convener of  Joint Action Committee which is  spearheading the Telangana movement.Kodandaram on Thursday told the media at the Indira Park, where the  JAC leaders are  holding relay fasts, said they had set a deadline for the people's elected representatives from the Telanganan region to resign.``Everyday different controversial statements are being aired from Delhi.

This is creating confusion among the staunch supporters of Telangana. We want a statement from the Centre on the a time-bound programme on creation of Telangana,’’ said the convener.The Centre is trying to place the Telangana issue in the cold storage, and that is the reason why the agitation is being revived, Kodandaram added.It’s only a matter of time, Telangana will definitely get the statehood, the JAC leader emphasezed. No one can stop the formation of Telangana, Kodandaram added.
