Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Thursday said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was actively pursuing the probe into the cases pertaining to slained gangster Nayeem.
Speaking to media persons in Nalgonda, the Home Minister said that the State Government would not spare any one in Nayeem's cases even if they were associated with ruling TRS. However, he alleged that the Nayeem expanded his criminal activities and network during the regime of previous TDP and Congress Governments. He said that the TRS has stopped Nayeem's activities and consequently he was killed in an encounter with the police.
Nayani also warned TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy against using aggressive language against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. He said that the people would soon teach TDP leader a fitting lesson. He described Revanth as a "child" in politics and said he had not yet reached the level of commenting on the Chief Minister. He said Revanth Reddy was trying to save TDP in Telangana by using the wealth of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The Home Minister also condemned the Centre on demonitisation move and described it as a hasty decision. He said that the move had a negative impact on the lives of common man.
