Minister for Industries Jupally Krishna Rao on Sunday said that there was no connection between a person’s intellect and his caste.
Speaking at a programme to mark the birth anniversary of Sanskrit poet Maharshi Valmiki here on Sunday, the minister said that the successive governments in united Andhra Pradesh made no efforts to uplift the marginalized sections. He said that though the people from marginalized section had talent they had no opportunities to showcase their skills and this was due to the indifferent attitude of the successive governments. The minister said that the TRS government was making efforts to the up lift the backward sections. He said that KCR government was undertaking people centric decisions and was working towards establishing a caste-free society and make the state Golden Telangana.
Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Etela Rajendar alleged that the governments in united AP treated the backward classes of Telangana indifferently. He said that the state government has formed BC Commission and would ensure justice to the deprived and the backward classes.
