TRS fulfilled all poll promises: Jagdeesh Reddy

Minister Jagdeesh Reddy on Sunday said that the Opposition parties were losing people’s confidence as they were indulging in spreading lies against the government. He said that the people were witness to people-centric schemes of the state government and were backing the government on various issues. 

The minister was speaking at a programme to lay foundation stone for the state government’s double bedroom scheme at Penpahad mandal in Nalgonda district. 

Jagadeesh Reddy said that the reogranisation of the district was a classic example of the state government’s commitment to provide better services to the people. Creation of new districts was aimed at bringing the administration closer to the people but the Opposition parties unleashed a false propaganda against the exercise. However, the people are happy at the government’s decision, the minister added. With the creation of new districts, the TRS government has fulfilled all its poll promises, the minister said and added that TRS was the only government in the country to fulfil cent percent promises made to the people.

The minister said that the pro-farmers policies of the state government were helping paying dividends. He said that the state government was introduction farm- mechanization to increase the crop yield. The state has stood as a model for other state in the country for its pro-farmers initiatives, he added.
