YSR Congress Party unit of Telangana on Tuesday demanded the state government to immediately resume the services of Arogyasri at private hospitals by clearing the pending dues.
Speaking to the media persons, YSRCP Telangana spokesperson Konda Raghava Reddy came down heavily on the state government accusing it of neglecting the health services in the state. At a time when the private hospitals have suspended the Arogyasri services in due to pending dues, the state government is least bothered about the crisis. The State government has crore of rupees for Bathukamma festivities but if has no funds for an important pro-poor scheme like Arogyasri, the YSRC leader said.
Regarding Reorganization of districts, the YSRC leader said that the TRS government has not adopted scientific approach while creating new districts. It seems the TRS government would create 119 districts, each for an Assembly constituency. The TRS had promised to create 24 districts in the party manifesto but the party is succumbing to the pressure tactics and is going on increase the number of districts. He demanded that the Reorganization of the districts should be based on the scientific manner and for administrative ease.
