Congress to organise rally in support of Army
APCC chief Dr. N Raghuveera Reddy on Friday commended the Indian Army for its surgical attack across Line of Control.
Speaking to media here on Friday, the PCC chief said that it was a time when political parties should rise above party politics and should rally behind country’s armed forces and the Union government. Slamming Pakistan for creating tension in Jammu Kashmir through terror attacks frequently, Raghuveera said that a befitting lesson should be taught to the adamant neighbor.
He said that the APCC will organize a massive Jai Jawan - Jai Bharat Rally in Visakhapatnam on Saturday in support of the armed forces and appealed the people, especially the students and the youth in large numbers to express solidarity to the nation’s soldiers.
Raghuvera on the occasion demanded the Centre to act tough against Pakistan for trying to meddle with the India’s sovereignty.
