Scrap Swiss Challenge model: YSRCP

YSR Congress on Wednesday has demanded the cancellation of controversial Swiss Challenge in the wake of High Court’s stay order and  rejection of the AP government’s lunch motion petition on the same.

Ysrcp MLA Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said that the High Court has raised several objections on the Swiss Challenge model adopted by the AP government. He alleged that the TD government was trying to go ahead with the controversial model despite opposition from various quarters.

Ysrcp senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana accused the TD chief Chandrababu Naidu of compromising on the issue of special category status to AP in lieu of bagging Polavaram project works.
