Budget likely to be tabled in Assembly by mid-Feb

Hyderabad, Jan 13: Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday said that the Budget session of the State Legislative Assembly would be, in all likelihood, held in the second week of February.The Assembly would have to adopt the Budget before the end of March otherwise all financial transactions would have to come to a halt.

Mr Rosaiah was talking to reporters at the Secretariat where he said that the schedule of review meetings on the implementation of all welfare schemes and development works would be finalised in around two days time and the review meetings would be held soon after.
