DK Aruna’s hunger stir a drama: TRS

Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao came down heavily on Congress leader DK Aruna saying that he was politicizing the issue of district reorganization.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Jupally said that DK Aruna never participated in the Telangana statehood movement and now she was trying to draw political mileage by sitting on a hunger strike. It is a drama, he added.

The minister said that that there was nothing wrong in people demanding the creation of Gadwal district. He reiterated that the reorganization of districts was being done for administrative purpose and that the Opposition parties should not indulge in politics over the issue.
