Naidu cheating people through Swiss Challenge: Vundavalli

Former MP and Congress leader Vundavallli Arun Kumar said that the Swiss Challenge method adopted by the state government for the construction of capital city was a method to cheat the people of the state and to embezzle public money.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, the Congress leader alleged that Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu was trying to take the people of the state for a ride by promising them to construct the capital on the lines of Singapore. He said that the Singapore model was not good for the AP economy as Singapore does not question the people about their source of earnings. Singapore economy model is not suitable for a state like AP. Singapore does not enjoy a positive image in the world economies, he said.

Vundavalli lashed out at the Chief Minister saying that the TD government acquired land for capital construction more than it required for the purpose.
