YSR Congress Telangana chief G Srikanth Reddy on Tuesday said the party will play a major role in the state in coming days.
Addressing a meeting of the Greater Hyderaband and Karimnagar units of the party, Srikanth Reddy said the party had narrowly missed the power in Andhra Pradesh and lost many seats in Telangana with narrow margins and urged the party leaders to raise people’s issues consistently to rise to the power.
Highlighting the consistent fight by the party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy against the anti-people policies of Chandrababu Naidu government in AP, Srikanth Reddy called upon the cadres to take inspiration from the party chief and take up similar programmes in Telangana also. YSRC can play a crucial role in both the states, he added. He said that the party would organize a massive public rally at Nizam College grounds soon, he said.
