Major Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao on Monday took potshots at the opposition parties describing them as "Shakuni" for trying to obstruct irrigation projects.
The minister said that using Godavari river water was the only solution to check the rising farm suicides in the state. Mallannasagar project would end the woes of the Medak farmers. But the "Shakuni-mamas" (the Opposition) were against it. He said that the party would expose the nexus of the opposition parties.
He reiterated the TRS’ stand that government would construct the Mallannasagar project to save farmers of the region.
