Vijayawada, to be Andhra State Capital?

As per the media reports, Congress Core Committee which met yesterday is known to have discussed about the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and contentious issues, including the status of the present capital, Hyderabad, and sharing of river waters. It is known from few reports that, Government is also looking at the option of whether Guntur or Vijayawada could be developed as capital to Andhra region thus passing the clear indications that Hyderabad falls in Telangana region.

Even the Congress Core Committee is also known to have discussed about rift caused by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the State as it became evident that Congress workers were divided on regional feelings by attacks on Reliance Outlets in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions where supporters of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went on a ruthless destruction whereas in the Telangana region there were very few to take to the roads for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YRS’ sake.
