YSRCP names Vijay Sai Reddy as candidate for RS polls

The YSR Congress party on Thursday announced V. Vijay Sai Reddy as its official candidate for Rajya Sabha seat.

The decision was taken in the party's emergency meeting, chaired by Ysrcp President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, held at Lotus Pond on Thursday. According to sources, Vijay Sai Reddy's nomination was decided unanimously.

Later, accompanied with the party MLAs, Vijay Sai Reddy, file the nomination papers before Secretary and Returning Officer K Satyanarayana Rao. Salur MLA Rajanna Dora, Party Senior leader and MLC Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, Pamarru MLA Uppuleti kalpana, Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani and other leaders were also present.
