Palair by-polls results is not public mandate: BJP

Telangana BJP president Dr. K. Lakshman on Thursday said that the results of Palair Assembly by-elections could not be considered as people's mandate in favour of TRS Government.

Speaking to media persons here, Lakshman condemned Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for targeting BJP after the declaration of Palair results.  He said that KCR, who spends most of his time at his farm house, had no moral right to criticise BJP which works for the people. He alleged that the TRS has been winning elections by cheating people on the basis of fake promises. He said that the TRS Government would be exposed soon.

Lakshman said that the Chief Minister has failed to get National Project status for any single project in the State.

He claimed that the BJP would emerge as a major political force in Telangana and would win over 70 seats in next General Elections.
