Hyderabad, Jan 2: Hoping to strike a deal which is acceptable to people of both the regions – the Telangana and Andhra,-- the Telugu Desam Party MLAs met in separate groups on the precincts of the Assembly on Saturday to chalk out their strategies.After the conclusion of their meetings, the leaders met their chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu separately and aired their opinions.North Andhra Coastal leaders, Yerran Naidu, Taminneni Sitaram, Pratibha Bharati speaking to the media, said the Tdp leaders will attend the Jan 5 conclave.
Meanwhile, the Tdp MLAs under the leadership of Nagam Janardhan Reddy met and disclosed their view to the party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu.Expressing doubts over the motives of the Centre in calling for a conclave of eight-party meeting in New Delhi on Jan 5, the Tdp leader said there is a strong feeling among the people to have a separate Telangana.If the Centre tries to dilute the issue, it will have to face the consequences, Nagam cautioned the Centre. He gave a call to the people of Telangana to make the proposed ``Vidyarthi Garjana’’ a huge success and urged the Government to grant permission to the students to conduct the rally. He requested the Government to lift all the cases filed against the students.
