Budget is pro-poor, pro-Welfare: KCR

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has congratulated Finance Minister Eatala Rajender for presentation of Telangana's third budget for the year 2016-17 in Assembly on Monday.

Kcr said Rs. 1.30 lakh crore budget was pro-poor and it would give a major boost to welfare of different sections of the society. He said huge allocations have been made for Irrigation and Welfare sections. He alleged that only Rs. 9,000 crore used to get allocated for Telangana under Plan Expenditure during united Andhra Pradesh regime. However, the TRS Government has allocated over Rs. 67,000 under Plan for State's development.
