Errabelli defends merger with TRS

Palakurthi MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao has strongly defended his action of joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here on Saturday, Errabelli claimed that he did not defect from TDP, but merged the entire TDLP into the TRSLP. He said his revolt was too small compared to what TDP Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu did with his father-in-law late N.T. Rama Rao. He also claimed that he never contacted any TRS leader seeking to join the party. He said he enjoys full support from the people and his colleagues and he had never lost an election in his political career.

Errabelli said although he was not aspiring to join the State cabinet, he would accept the ministry if offered by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
