Revanth slams Speaker over TDP MLAs' merger decision

TDP floor leader in Telangana Assembly A. Revanth Reddy has accused TRS Government of hatching a major political conspiracy while merging 12 Tdp Mlas into the ruling party.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Revanth Reddy said that the decision of Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary on merger was against all democratic norms and set practices of Legislature in the country. He said that the decision was not only unconstitutional, but undemocratic. He said that the Speaker did not take any decision on Disqualification petitions for the last 20 months and took an instant decision on merger.

Revanth Reddy said that the TDP would fight against the decision both inside and outside the Assembly.
