Narayana Murthy takes exception to Chiru stand

Khammam, Jan. 1: Actor and producer R. Narayana Murthy has found fault with the strategy adopted by Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjivi on the controversial Telangana issue.Participating in an entertainer programme “Ata-Pata” organised by New Democracy in support of Telangana here on Thursday, Narayana Murthy told newsmen that Chiranjeevi's decision to back United Andhra was incorrect. “Some Parties changed their strategy on Telangana like Usaravelli,” he suggested.

Narayana Murty demanded that the Union government should give its nod for separateTelangana and it would introduce a bill in Parliament soon. He also said the Telangana agitators did not suspend the stir for separate statehood till Telangana was constituted.“Many people in Andhra are seeking separate Telangana like me” he stated. Earlier, Narayana Murthy sang in support of Telangana during the programme. New Democracy district secretary Pottu Ranga Rao also participated in the programme.
