He added that Chief Minister K Rosaiah has been invited to the meeting. The Union Home Minister said the, "Jan 5 meeting is the first step in the consultations.  In the first step we have called the recognised parties in the state to devise a mechanism and a roadmap." He said he hoped the media would not term the Jan 5 meeting as another ‘flip-flop’ by the Centre. He implied that the Centre was open to the idea of involving more people beyond the eight recognised parties as and when the consultation process progresses.
