Hyderabad, Dec 30: The Andhra Pradesh Police Officers Association on Wednesday urged Chief Minister K Rosaiah to withdraw the suspensions on police officers in the state.Association state unit chief secretary K V Ramnarsimha Reddy met Chief Minister K Rosaiah at his residence in the morning and urged him to drop the suspensions of police personnels who were tackling Telanagana agitators.Reddy told newsmen later that Vijayawada Police Commissioner K V Rajendranath was suspended for the escape of MP Lagadapati from Vijayawada Hospital.

 A circle inspector, two SIs and four constables were suspended for failure to prevent vandalism at Pulivendula after MLA Y S Vivekananda Reddy was arrested near the Collectorate in Kadapa.He said the police personnel were working without proper food and sleep due to Telangana agitation. The suspensions hit the morale of police and sent out a wrong signal among the people.He urged the government to withdraw all suspensions on officials to boost the morale of the police.
