JAC submits memo to Governor

Hyderabad,Dec 29: Stepping up its campaign, the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee on Tuesday urged Governor E S L Narasimhan to make efforts for formation of separate Telangana state.Talking to media persons after submitting a memorandum to the Governor at Raj Bhavan, the JAC members led by Venkatesam, who undertook a padayatra from Suryaraopet to Hyderabad, said the committee would continue its agitation till the Centre announces a time-frame for the formation of a separate state.The members also urged the Governor to lift all police cases foisted against students during Telangana agitation and sought stoppage of police repression against the people participating in the agitation voluntarily.
