T- ministers in no mood to bow

New Delhi,Dec 28: Bowing to pressure from the ministers hailing from Telangana, the  Centre is  likely to  come out  with an announcement on Telangana by  tomorrow evening, Congress party sources revealed here on Monday.The Telangana ministers who met Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily on Monday appraised him of the latest developments in the state.They urged the Centre to come out with a clear-cut statement on Telangana to avoid any ambiguity.Highlighting the gravity of the situation and the circumstances under which they were forced to resign, the ministers sought clarification on the Centre’s statement over Telangana.

They firmly asserted that they have no desire to drop the resignations and urged Moily to hasten the process of Telangana state formation.Union Minister Jaipal Reddy,and Ahmed Patel,political advisor to Sonia Gandhi were also present at the meeting.According to Ponnala Laksmaiah, Minister for Irrigation,the meeting was cordial and Moily gave them a patient hearing assuring them of an early solution.The presence of Ahmed Patel during the discussions was an encouraging sign, Ponnala added.
