With ongoing agitations beating the administration of Andhra Pradesh and pulling the state deep into financial troubles, the issue looks to be a never ending one for at least few more weeks. With Telangana Joint Action Committee rigid on their stand for separate statehood and Seemandhara targeting Hyderabad and “United Andhra,” Central high command is struck up in a padmavyuha.
Central Government’s solution which is gossiped to be releasing a financial package of nearly Rs.15,000 crores for development of Telangana is adamantly put away by Telangana leaders.
“Please don’t link up the issue of development of Telangana with its separate statehood. The major root causes for our separate statehood lies in self respect and self governance,” said a Telangana leader.
So, with no bags of financial packages likely to fulfill Telangana’s dream, many Telangana leaders and people are demanding separate statehood as the only solution.
