TRS leaders approach Vijayashanti

Hyderabad, Dec 26: Some of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti  leaders on Saturday approached Vijayashanti, the  MP  from Medak in view of the latest developments in the state  over Telangana issue.The outcome of the meeting is not known but party sources say that the TRS leaders approached her requesting  to  join the Joint Action Committee.

Vijayashanti, who is keeping a low profile ever since the  death of  Y S Rajasekhar Reddy is playing  it safe by keeping aloof  from the political  parties. However she expressed her support for the cause of Telangana.The TRS leaders, who seemed to be losing grip on the Telangana movement after the formation of Join Action committee of all parties, are trying to consolidate their position by roping in charismatic leaders to project the party’s image.
