MSR shocks Congress, praises KCR

Congress senior leader and former RTC chairman M. Satyanarayana Rao has shocked the Congress party by praising the functioning of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Satyanarayana Rao said that TRS Government was successfully implementing programmes like Mission Kakatiya and Grama Jyothi and effectively resolved the energy crisis. He said KCR's policy on all three issues was highly appreciative. He advised Congress leaders to praise the good initiatives of TRS Government.

The former PCC chief expressed dissatisfaction over Congress leaders criticising KCR and his policies. He also advised KCR to take all opposition parties into confidence to ensure overall development of Telangana.

When asked about Warangal by-elections, he said only the people of Warangal would decide the fate of parties. However, he said the results of Warangal by-polls of Bihar elections where people rejected BJP for non-performance of Central Government.

Satyanarayana Rao also advised Rahul Gandhi to wait for some more time to lead the Congress party as its president.
