CRPF protection for Secretariat

Hyderabad, Dec 25: In view of prevailing political situation in the state, the Government has deployed Central Reserve Police Force at the Secretariat, the seat of power.The government, anticipating more trouble, beefed up the security at important locations in the city on Friday.According to sources, the Centre sent 1,150 additional paramilitary forces and 10 companies of CRPF to Hyderabad following a request from the state.

With this, the strength of Central forces in the state increased to 38 companies, comprising about 4,000 personnel.Meanwhile, the Government has deployed Rapid Action Force near Raj Bhavan following the telecast of alleged lurid acts of Governor N D Tiwari in the ABN Andhra Jyothy channel
