PRP’s T-party out in the open

Hyderabad,Dec 19: A breakaway group of Praja Rajyam Party opposed to `united Andhra’ constituted Telangana Praja Rajyam Party (TPRP) headed by EV Venugopal on Saturday.The elected executive committee comprised G Bikshapathi and B Sridhar as vice-presidents, A Ravindar, K Ravindar Rao,M Rambabu as general secretaries, MD Pasha as treasurer and Vijay Abraham as office secretary.

The office-bearers of the new outfit met Chief Election Officer Subba Rao and submitted a memorandum requesting him to recognize TPRP as the original party.They also sought allotment of the party symbol `Sun’ to them. They urged the CEO to freeze the PRP funds and transfer it to the TPRP.Defying the PRP Chief’s stand on united Andhra,the TPRP leaders passed scathing remarks against PRP chief Chiranjeevi.They said Chiru  has already ditched the people of Telangana and now he is bent upon deceiving the people of Andhra and Rayalaseema.
