YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday urging him to include Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as Accused No. 1 in the 'Cash for Vote' case.

Speaking to media persons after meeting the Governor, Jagan asked as to why Naidu's name was not included in the list of accused in the case wherein TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy had tried to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson vote in favour of TDP candidate in MLC elections. He said he had requested the Governor to take necessary action so that the main people behind the scam are arrested.

"People said Chandrababu used money in Telangana General Assembly elections. They even caught his party men trying to use money in Telangana MLC election. While the TDP party is claiming to be out of money, from where did these crores of money come? How did a MLA get five crores just in a span of one year? The main people behind the scam should be arrested," Jagan said.
