Unrully scenes in Lok Sabha

New Delhi,Dec 15: The Lok Sabha was adjourned for 15 minutes on Tuesday following protests from Andhra Pradesh legislators cutting across partylines and crossing regional barriers over the Centre’s nod for formation of the separate Telangana state.The members raising ‘Jai United Andhra’ and ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans trooped into the podium of Speaker Meera Kumar to voice their protest by displaying placards in the House.

Speaker Kumar urged the members not to disrupt the proceedings. However, the TDP, Congress and TRS members continued to raise slogans in favour of the Telangana state and others shouted slogans for Unified Andhra Pradesh. Unable to continue with the House business, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings for 15 minutes.
